"We get targeted too much as gay people ... just because it's two men having relations maybe in the bathroom or in the bushes of a park, I think the world should wake up to the fact that no matter who's having sex, it's everywhere."

"We're not going to explain how we're going to investigate it," said Winnipeg police spokesperson Sgt. Kelly Dennison. "This isn't the first time we've heard of this ... (and) this isn't the only area where we've heard of this happening."

"It doesn't matter to me if you're gay or straight, or what you are. It doesn't matter what race or sexual preference, it doesn't play a role. What plays a role is that people are committing an offence in a public area, which is disturbing to families and is disturbing to kids."
