Summary
During last week's run through the Atlantic Conference, the Moose simply stuck to their own agenda, Sean Avery and all. They found aggressive opponents at home, sometimes over the line, as with the appalling late hit from Hartford's Devin DiDiomete that has put Zack FitzGerald on the injury list and the childish histrionics from Providence in Sunday's 4-0 Moose win.
Goaltending, in particular second-year pro Cory Schneider. Karl Goehring and Curtis Sanford have made major contributions and the Moose are in an enviable position with depth but Schneider has exceeded expectations and to his benefit, hasn't allowed some growing pains during his Vancouver stint, nor some of the unrealistic criticism he faced there to harm his attitude. The Moose, by the way, are 30-6-0-3 when Schneider's present.A survival instinct.
