"And I think it's really eye-opening when some of their own peers do things, because then they learn things about their peers that they didn't know. We all come to the school with a different ethnic background, but we're all students within the school. But certainly, everyone has different gifts to offer, so it was an opportunity for them. I think it's really good. We have quite a few First Nations and Métis students within our school who had a chance to see their culture celebrated."
"We also had the Circle Project Dancers and the Long Creek Singers, and they did a performance. They did a jingle dance and just a whole array of different First Nation dances ... and then from our own school, we had three students. We had two children do a blessing dance, which is a Thai dance. It's done at weddings and celebrations. And we also had one of our students do Irish dancing. So it was kind of neat."
