"I am very disappointed with you and regret even sharing this horrible experience with you. And being referred to as 'grossly twisted'?!?!? "Now that actually hurts."

In my reply to [Janie] I told her the 'grossly twisted' reference was not aimed at her, but the issue of finding someone guilty before they've been proven guilty, particularly anonymously online. I add that I was sorry for the misunderstanding but even more sorry for hurting her. For, in effect, traumatizing her again.

"Don't worry, I wasn't retraumatized. But I was very angry, upset and embarrassed to the point of ripping your article out of my elderly parents' paper before they saw it. I have upset them enough already with this whole ordeal.
