On Wednesday, [Theodore Lismer] reduced Irvine's 30-month prison sentence to a 21-month sentence for good behaviour while on bail. Then, Lismer decided Irvine qualified for a conditional sentence to be served in the community because his reduced sentence was less than two years.
"I thought, 'Wow.' I was lucky, I had two people in here," said [GRACE Huynh]. "All my customers said, 'What would you do if you'd been by yourself?' I said I didn't know. I don't want to think about it." "Something is really, really wrong with our justice system," she said, asking her name not be published.
