"It's made a difference because we've seen an increase of 50 per cent in the number of people requesting testing," said Planned Parenthood [Regina] executive director Barb McWatters.

"I just think it's important to send the message to get tested so you can get treated," McWatters said. "We've done work with family physicians and their feedback has suggested that they thought the campaign was very worthwhile."

"Chlamydia is a little bit of a difficult STI in that it often has no symptoms that accompany it and so people aren't aware that they have it and aren't aware that they need to be using precautions," McWatters said.
