Assuming "full pro ration," each Agricore shareholder would be entitled to $14 in cash and 0.6623 of a SaskPool common share for each share of AU, Agricore said in a statement Friday.

He said SaskPool seems to be "drawing a line in the sand," the message to JRI being: "This is our last offer, so if you want to beat us, this is what you have to beat."

If JRI decides not to match or beat the latest SaskPool bid, [Brian Hayward] said: "What we would be doing in all likelihood is trying to conclude (an agreement) with Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and present that to our shareholders. Ultimately, the shareholders decide."
