Sault to host wildlife enforcement conference.

Sault Ste. Marie will host the annual conference of the North American Wildlife Enforcement Officers Association in July, 2017.

The conference will take place July 17-22, at the Quattro Hotel & Conference Centre, and is expected to attract 400 visitors.

The annual meeting brings together game wardens and conservation officers from across the continent. It also acts as a fundraiser for the Fallen Officers Memorial at the North American Game Warden Museum, which is located in the International Peace Garden on the U.S./Canada border between Manitoba and North Dakota.

The conference was secured in August during a familiarization tour for association representatives.
