The Winnipeg Arts Council (WAC) announced Friday that it has selected [David Perrett]'s submission as the winning project in the $150,000 University of Winnipeg Gateway and Transit Project.
Perrett will build two sculptures, one of them doubling as a bus shelter, to serve as gateways to the U of W's entrances on both Portage and Ellice avenues."The process was incredibly rapid," Perrett, 27, said yesterday.Sculptor David Perrett Wins Public Art Commission
