Summary

In 1966, the Beatles ended their U.S. tour by performing what would be their last public concert, before 25,000 fans at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. The Fab Four played 11 selections in just over half an hour, beginning with Chuck Berry's Rock and Roll Music and ending with Little Richard's Long Tall Sally.

The third season of this gritty made-for-U.S.-cable drama gets off to an appropriately tormented start, with variously addicted New York firefighter Tommy Gavin (series creator Denis Leary) still reeling after the accidental death of his young son. Also complicating matters are a needy father and a reluctant wife. The new season's guest list includes Susan Sarandon, Tatum O'Neal and Marisa Tomei. Showcase, midnight.
