"I couldn't believe it when I saw it," [Melanie Smith] said. "I cried and told him, 'Oh you bugger, yes, of course I'll marry you.'"

"I didn't notice right away," Smith said. "He stopped in the middle of traffic and said, 'look, look'. I thought he was pointing at a truck and I didn't see it right away."

"Things have been kinda rocky sometimes, but when I saw the billboard I knew he really loves me," Smith said. "It's romantic. He loves me a lot and I love him too."
