Dubbed the Alpine Sinister 6, this mean machine is a hand-built demo vehicle created to showcase the amazing array of audio and video products available from Alpine Electronics. The car actually started life as a 2005 BMW 645i convertible, but was totally transformed by Alpine's Advanced Application research and development team. Master fabricators Steve Brown and Gary Bell, who also received assistance from Glen Swackhamer from Alpine of Canada, led the build.
Cory Mountain is a marketing and communications major at Sudbury's Laurentian University, and may just have the ultimate summer job. He loaded the Sinister 6 into an enclosed trailer and is making his way across Canada, from Montreal to Vancouver, stopping in basically every city Alpine products are marketed.Apparently it has 10,000 watts of power, and apparently that's a lot, but according to Mountain it's way more about sound quality than volume. Although I'm not a huge Snoop Dog fan, I must admit the audio clarity was unlike any I had ever experienced.Sinister 6 Shines
