Snowball Stabbing May Not Have Been Random

Summary


The accused and at least two other teens allegedly jumped [Trevor Denning]'s son, kicking and punching him before fleeing. The victim was not seriously injured. All the boys had been at a school dance earlier in the evening. The case remains before the courts.

Denning said he was shocked to learn the youth charged with stabbing him was a familiar face. He's now wondering if there was more to the snowball incident than just some mindless vandalism.

''The only thing I take pride in is that I was out of the hospital quicker than they were out of the Manitoba Youth Centre," Denning said Friday.
