Spring Into Colour

Summary

My husband picked up a great little pamphlet from Pittsburgh Paints called The colour sense game that might help lead you in the right colour direction. I actually played the 'game' online and it was quite fun to see what my 'colour sense' is. Visit www.thevoiceofcolor.com and play the short colour game. You might be surprised at the outcome, and of just how colour brave you may be!

I'm partial to red or deep orange dining rooms. I've always wanted to try a vivid colour like this in our home, but unfortunately I don't have a formal dining room in which to practise new paint colours. One day, if a dining room comes into my life, I plan to decorate it in rich tones that are cosy for elegant dinner parties. The reason I'm sharing this with you is that I know I'm not the only one who dares to think about bold colour. C'mon, in the back of your mind you're dying to go navy and white in the bathroom or forest green in the den, right? If so, then do it! It's only paint. There are no mistakes, just varying degrees of success. If you have a plan, you can be successful in your hunt for great colour.
