I'm partial to red or deep orange dining rooms. I've always wanted to try a vivid colour like this in our home, but unfortunately I don't have a formal dining room in which to practise new paint colours. One day, if a dining room comes into my life, I plan to decorate it in rich tones that are cosy for elegant dinner parties. The reason I'm sharing this with you is that I know I'm not the only one who dares to think about bold colour. C'mon, in the back of your mind you're dying to go navy and white in the bathroom or forest green in the den, right? If so, then do it! It's only paint.
