Summary
Around this time last year, the 104-year-old water tower on the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks in Glenboro was set ablaze and, despite the best efforts of local firefighters, destroyed by the flames. The water tower - complete with its original cedar tank - had been declared a provincial heritage site in 1997 and was believed to be the oldest of three remaining railroad water towers in the province.
