"We don't know yet," Insp. Steve Pilote said.

"Our bomb unit has examined the package, and determined it not to be explosive," Pilote said. "That doesn't mean it's necessarily safe."

Kelly Keith, spokeswoman for the Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health, said the package came to the lab's community liaison committee's post office box at the main post office on Graham Avenue.
