The current economic situation has had a substantial effect on

the availability of bank loans to small and medium-sized

businesses. Unfortunately, this has resulted in a crippling of

certain businesses and a further hit on the economy. The decreased

supply of capital from traditional sources has led businesses to

look elsewhere for much-needed investment.
