"Right now it just trying to take this morning to recover," said [Dave Richert], who was put through the wringer for four days, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. "The last few mornings were more intense than I had expected. We really didn't know what we were being judged on, but we were tested on everything from media presentation, auto cross (in a parking lot course with extremely tight turns), go-carting and fitness. I am physically sore today."

"I have a lot to do before the race in Virginia," said Richert, who will return to Niverville on Wednesday. "This is what I have been working for, for the last five or six years."
