The former Brandon Wheat Kings defenceman returned to the Wheat City for two days to take part in the team's annual reunion weekend and quickly departed on Saturday afternoon, heading west to Kelowna, B.C., where he will soon become a newlywed to his fiancee Danica. A first-team all-WHL defenceman in 1995-96, Redden scored 27 goals and 153 points in 179 games with the Wheaties between 1993 and 1996, and was the assistant captain on the WHL champion team of 1996.
