"It's awesome! It's going to be great, Edmonton is a great fit, a great city and it's just looking good," said St. Croix, who led the provincial bantam AAA Division I league in scoring with 51 goals and 45 assists for 96 points in 25 games.
"It's just so awesome, you've been waiting for so long, and for it to come out the way it did, it's a great feeling," said St. Croix, who was home with his parents when he was selected."I'm pretty happy about it, it feels good to be drafted. Yeah, I was hoping (Tri-City would pick me), actually, but it doesn't really matter," [Michael Lazo], 14, said.
