"I'm sorry for letting everyone down," said the teen, who pleaded guilty to possession of the drugs and was given two years of supervised probation. [Ron Meyers] said a discharge wasn't up for consideration because of the "hard" drugs involved.

"You've got to be stupid. I'll tell you why. I can understand if you had a family that didn't give a damn about you. But to push the envelope when you've got a family that is concerned and responsible; I think that's stupid on your part," said Meyers.

"Don't try this again," Meyers warned. "Jails are full of guys who deal in drugs. Their lives are ruined."
