Training program to develop Aboriginal entrepreneurs.

A new mentorship program at Northern College will help Aboriginal entrepreneurs start up new businesses in their home communities.

The four-week Aboriginal Entrepreneurial Learning Path (AELP) program will cover market research, analysis and strategies, financial literacy, commerce, computer skills for business, human resource planning, and operation management.

Delivered over a four-month period, students will attend the Timmins campus one week each month, spending the remaining time in their home communities establishing a new business with the help of a community mentor.
