Béton signed on the company's behalf an application for life insurance to meet the financing conditions imposed by General Trust. An amended application was accepted by respondent insurer on May 6, 1977 and the policy was delivered that same day. The application indicated that at that time X. Béton paid the insurer a deposit of $1,000. At the same time the insured signed a declaration of good health and insurability. At X.
