Labor relations in Canada are characterized by mistrust and untruthfulness, as revealed by various surveys involving Canadian executives and employees. Results gathered from these surveys show that employees and managers do not trust each other while supervisors and other top-level executives do trust each other. One of the most effective means of promoting trust and loyalty in the corporate environment is being supportive of employees.
