It's always refreshing to hear the other side of the perpetual myth put forward by MPIC CEO [Marilyn McLaren] of just how "good" we have it here in Manitoba. Lindsay Olson, of the British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba Insurance Bureau of Canada, paints a different picture. Such as, Alberta drivers pay slightly more for their insurance premiums, but at the same time receive "stronger benefits." In fact, Alberta's private insurers "pay out twice as much" in claims as MPIC.
