"I want to tell you that I am happy the cops caught those punks. I was a victim Sunday afternoon as well, but I guess when they realized that I had an immobilizer they crossed the street and stole another truck. I was in Kildonan Place maybe 15 minutes, and when I came out, my drivers' door lock was punched out and my steering column off. I, too, just bought a 2005 Chevy Silverado. I was lucky I can still drive it. When I made a report with Autopac, they said I have to pay my deductible and the police said unless these kids admit to breaking in my truck they can't charge them with mine as there isn't enough manpower or money to fingerprint. I find our justice system is going to the criminals' welfare. Where are their parents? I have two boys and if they ever did this they would be scared to come home."

Much like the Silverado, our driver's side door lock was punched out and the plastic around the steering column broken so that they could override the ignition. I was the last driver of the car before it got stolen and there were several very expensive items in the car that were left alone ($450 snowboarding jacket). However, being 19, I am still relatively close in age to these kids and I'm assuming we share the same music taste, because I had several expensive and rare CDs taken from the truck.
