The war of words erupted after [Gore] told an audience gathered to watch his documentary An Inconvenient Truth that the Conservatives' recently released plan to combat climate change was a "fraud" intended to "mislead" Canadians.
"In my opinion," Gore told the audience at the Green Living Show in Toronto, "it is a complete and total fraud."Gore said he was surprised to see the Tory plan employs the concept of "intensity reduction," which he said is a poll-tested phrase developed in Houston by the so-called think-tanks financed by Exxon Mobil and some other large polluters.See the full content of this document
