Wasaya Airways welcomed three new First Nation pilots into the ranks of the Aboriginally-owned regional air carrier.

All recently graduated from the aviation-flight management program at Confederation College and will work as apprentice pilots from the Wasaya airbase at Pickle Lake.

At a special event at the Wasaya hangar on July 10, the three were presented graduation certificates by new Wasaya president-CEO Michael Rodyniuk and Sandy Lake First Nation Ch ief Bart Meekis, chair of the Wasaya Board of Directors
