Now some people are saying that Sam Katz has little competition in Winnipeg's mayoral race. So why don't we consider throwing a local donkey into the electoral ring? If this creature were to win, (and I do mean the donkey), there'd be a myriad of benefits.
That's a mere drop in the bucket compared with all the extras a human mayor receives. Katz has dental and optical benefits, a parking stall and a transportation allowance. A donkey wouldn't need the benefits, though it could use a stall. And it is the transportation.Some of you may have preconceived negative notions about donkeys. You've heard that they are stubborn. The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture Food and Rural Affairs says this stubbornness is due to a "highly developed sense of self preservation."
