Susan and Mike bring home a baby, and Katherine's dark secret is finally revealed.

How I Met Your Mother (Monday, May 19, 7:30 p.m., CBS) -- Sure, viewers are interested in what's happening with Ted and Robin and Marshall and Lily and Barney, but all they're going to hear about in the lead-up to this third-season closer is Brit, Brit, Brit -- as in 'ney, as in Spears, who returns for a second guest spot as the medical receptionist with a knack for humbling flirtation.

Grey's Anatomy (Thursday, May 21, 8 p.m., ABC/CTV) -- The smart money's on a cliffhanger-ish rekindling of a Meredith-McDreamy romance, partly because series creator Shonda Rhimes has promised viewers "a kiss we never saw coming."
