"I felt I handled myself well last year and I hope to improve on that every day," [Ian White] said via phone after participating in a Leafs golf tournament Monday in Toronto. "This season, I'm expecting more of myself.

"Camp has been good, but it's short and sweet nowadays," White said Monday. "We had two days of practice, a blue-white game and it's over and we're on our way to the first pre-season game."

"This will be awesome," White said. "It's been two years between games here so it's great to come back and my friends and family can get a first-hand look.
