"We have a great relationship with wildlife staff from Manitoba Conservation," said Reg Wiebe, Manitoba's hunter education coordinator. "They were prominent at the convention and gave us a real good look at the state of wildlife management in Manitoba."

"We organized the convention a bit differently this time," said Wiebe. "We decided on a schedule that allowed a lot more mixing and discussions between delegates and, judging by the positive feedback we've been getting at the office, it looks like it worked."

"The federation's future is looking very bright right now," [John Williams] said. "Our membership is rising, our affiliates are very active and we have a bright future."
