"Manitoba's upcoming Excellence in Leadership Award Program, in its seventh year, is one of Canada's premiere awards program recognizing accomplishments in the area of human resource management practices," she said.

MaryAnne Kempe, president of the Human Resource Management Association of Manitoba (HRMAM) says that the provincewide award program has become so well recognized and prized that it is now the "Oscar" of human resource accomplishments in the minds of the business community.

Kempe states, "the Excellence in Leadership Awards recognizes the impact these human resource initiatives have not only on individual success through employee engagement, attraction and retention but also on organizational success and the growth of Manitoba business and the economy in general."
