Winnipeg Women Respond to 'Rejected' Miss Lonelyhearts

Summary

Sometimes we're just out for the anti-guys "Girls Night Out." Also, I'm not into guys who just start grinding up behind me. I would like a, "Hi, how are you? My Name is so-and-so, and yours is?" -- some pleasantries, so it doesn't seem like you're out for one thing. Not to mention the annoyance of guys who are Stage 5 cling-ons, following a girl around all night! If you want our numbers, just ask. If you really are a nice-looking guy with a job and education I, as a 22-year-old single girl, would be happy to dance with you. Just don't act in an overly-aggressive way, and try and be somewhat charming.-- Don't Like Creepers , Winnipeg

We once quite literally ran across the dance floor six times with these two guys following us, not getting that we didn't want to dance with them. I have, on several occasions, stuck my wedding-banded ring finger up right in front of the guy's face, only to get a blank stare and a second attempt to snake an arm around my hips. -- M.M.
