[Karen Allison Vandenbosch] was confronted by prison authorities in August 2003 while visiting a friend at the federal prison north of Winnipeg. It was Vandenbosch's fifth visit to the prison that summer. That time, documents she presented for identification tested positive on a drug scan. When questioned by prison authorities, she admitted she had hidden condoms filled with morphine and marijuana in her vagina.
