"The agreement's been signed. And that'll be the new chief's turmoil if he wants to challenge it," [Jerry Primrose] said. "There are legal ways of doing things."

Joe Mercredi, an NCN band member who voted for the new chief, said he's hopeful [Jimmy Moore] will be able to reopen negotiations with Hydro. He's concerned that whatever money rolls in from the Wuskwatim deal will go directly to paying off the loans the community takes out to buy into the project.

"We know most of the council was re-elected and Moore is a former Hydro employee who's a good guy," said [Bob Brennan].
