Winnipeg's fall of '07 already has gotten off to a whiz-bang arts start, when Brandon-born violinist James Ehnes played five Mozart concertos at back-to- back Manitoba Chamber Orchestra concerts earlier this week.
By the way, this appears to be the year of nice round anniversaries. Manitoba Opera, the MCO and Prairie Theatre Exchange all turn 35. Manitoba Theatre Centre hits 50, and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 60th.
