Youth program to teach digital business skills.

A 24-week experiential program is designed to teach North Bay youth skills in project management, data analytics, business intelligence and more.

The program will be launched by the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) of Ottawa, a not-for-profit national centre of expertise for the digital economy.

The goal of the program is aimed at developing young talent to help fill industry needs, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses. The program will be funded by the Government of Ontario, ICTC, educational institutions and industry leaders.

"Ontario's youth have the skills small businesses need to develop the technological disruptions of the future," said Brad Duguid, minister of economic development and growth, in a release.
