About the Author
Bryan Birtles is a graduate of the University of Alberta and Osgoode
Hall Law School. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, and
the author of a number of academic papers on a variety of topics
including Aboriginal law, criminal law, and legal advocacy. Prior to
joining the legal profession, he was a journalist and writer in Canada
and Northern Ireland. He currently serves as legal counsel to the
Specific Claims Tribunal.
