About the Authors
Erica Anderson, BA, MISt, is the manager of digital and web content
at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and was previously a research
librarian at the Ontario Legislative Library. She has worked in law
rm libraries in Toronto and London, UK; was president of the Toronto
Association of Law Libraries (2006–7); and was a member-at-large
for the Canadian Association of Law Libraries Executive Board
(2015–17).
Susan Barker is the digital services and reference librarian at the Bora
Laskin Law Library, University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. She holds a
master of information studies degree from the University of Toronto
and a diploma in library techniques from Seneca Coege. She is the
former editor and current associate editor of theCanadian Law Library
Reviewand teaches legal literature and librarianship at the University
of Toronto iSchool. She is also a contributor toLegal Problem Solving —
Reasoning, Research and Writing(4th to 8th ed), and a coauthor ofe
Ultimate Guide to Canadian Legal Research(1st to 4th ed).In addition to
her interest in researching legislative intent, she has also wrien on
bibliometrics for legal academics.
