Applications sought for ag project funding.

Farmers and agri-food entrepreneurs are being encouraged to apply for funding to help with projects related to innovation, economic development, environmental stewardship and food safety.

On Feb. 20, the provincial and federal governments announced a new intake for funding under the cost-sharing Canadian Agricultural Partnership.

The partnership is a five-year, $3-billion commitment by Canada's federal, provincial and territorial governments that supports Canada's agri-food and agri-products sectors.
