We greet you with this issue of the Health Law Review looking to the future in this ever-evolving field of study that is health law. As we put this publication together, we are well underway with planning for the 4th National Health Law Conference, the second hosted by our Institute. November 8 to 10, 2007 will see us in beautiful Banff, Alberta, where we will hear from leading legal scholars from across Canada on emerging issues in areas such as: health care reform, liability, research, technology and gaps in the system, among others. Entitled "VISIONS", with a forward looking theme, it will be a unique opportunity to gather together not only legal academics and practitioners, but individuals from diverse disciplines to consider developments and make predictions in an unprecedented time of change for the Canadian health care system.
