Compensation - Right to compensation - General principles - The Saskatchewan Court of Appeal stated that the right of a broker to compensation depends in every case upon the contract between the broker and the seller - See paragraph 6 - The Court of Appeal stated that where a sale is made within the period specified in the employment contract, a broker may be entitled to compensation even though the broker has done nothing to bring about the sale - See paragraph 7.
