BILLS OF EXCHANGE
A subset of both commercial law and banking law, this area of law, which includes cheques,
promissory notes, and negotiable instruments, will undergo considerable internationalization
under the inf‌luence of international commercial law. The United Nations Commission for
International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) undertakes works in this domain. Jurisdictionally, this
is a federal matter.
