CHILDREN AND THE LAW
Often treated as a subtopic within family law, this area dealing with legal minors is actually
somewhat broader and has connections with criminal law and tort inter alia. In an environment
that is becoming more sensitive to the legal rights of children, this is increasingly becoming a
more active area of research and litigation. Related topics: ABORIGINAL LAW, ADOPTION,
CRIMINAL LAW, DIVORCE, EDUCATION LAW, FAMILY LAW, HUMAN RIGHTS AND
THE CHARTER OF RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, TORTS, YOUNG OFFENDERS.
JEUNESSE
CONTREVENANTS.
