JOINT BIENNIAL 2011 CONGRESS OF THE SOCIETE DE CRIMINOLOGIE DU QUEBEC AND THE CANADIAN CRIMINAL JUSTICE ASSOCIATION

To underscore 50 years of criminological development, the Societe de criminologie du Quebec and the Canadian Criminal Justice Association have chosen to form a cooperative venture in order to make this a pan-Canadian collaborative congress that is also open to the international community. In this context, the Societe de criminologie du Quebec will celebrate its 50 years of existence. The site chosen for the Congress as well as the historical context surrounding it will make this a memorable event to which you are invited. Speakers will present their research findings on new intervention strategies, initiatives towards offenders, youth and adult criminal justice towards victims, and in the field of application and elaboration of criminal justice policy, as well as in the area of crime prevention.
