Summary:

Pursuant to section 19(3) of the Credit Unions Act of 1952 the deceased, Albert Cormier, attempted on death to pass his shares and deposits in a credit union to beneficiaries. Held that nomination effective to pass deceased's interest in shares of the credit union but not effective to pass his interest in deposits with the credit union. Held that the words "Interest in the Credit Union" in section 19(3) does not include deposits which create a debtor/creditor relationship.
