COURTS

This topic lists works related to the court structure of Canada. Courts in Canada are both fed-

eral and provincial creations by virtue of sections 96 to 101 (federal courts) and subsection

92(14) (provincial courts) of the Constitution Act, 1982. The structure of courts and the rules

related to their composition, for example, are anticipated in this topic. Procedures before the

courts are dealt with in CIVIL PROCEDURE and CRIMINAL PROCEDURE. See also AD-
