CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
These are the rules that specify the manner in which a criminal proceeding against an accused
must be undertaken. It is an example of “adjective law” as opposed to “substantive law.” These
rules are spelled out in the federal Criminal Code and are signif‌icantly informed by a vast
