An application to vary an order for child support may be entertained by reason of changed circumstances, notwithstanding that an appeal is pending against the original order.10Al-though there is jurisdiction to hear an application to vary or rescind a support order that is under appeal,11the variation proceeding may be stayed pending the disposition of the appeal in order to avoid multiplicitous proceedings.12
